GRAND CANYON “NATIONAL PARK”
Our tour begins with a drive from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam were we will cross over the newly built Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge. Travel through the habitat of the Nevada Big Horn Sheep, Black Canyon. Learn about the Pioneer/ Indian Wars, early Spanish Conquistadors, the Missionaries, Mountain Men, Explorers and Settlers.
From Kingman you will travel to Williams, Arizona, home to the Grand Canyon Railway on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to having lunch, which is included, you will have time at the gift shop or to browse the railway museum or depot. Time is limited; therefore always check with your driver guide.
After lunch we will take you inside the Grand Canyon National Park stopping at the new state of the art visitor center and Mather Point.
Yavapai Point, the widest part of the canyon, is closed to bus traffic. It can be reached via a short rim walk. Please check with your driver guide for your best options.
Use the additional free time to browse Bright Angel Lodge, its’ gift shops, museum, and snack shop. This is the hub of activities at the Grand Canyon Historic Village district area. You are a short walk to Hopi House, the Indian art museum and gift shop. All our stops provide time for exploring and photographing.
